Facebook Search Table by GildLogic

Facebook Search Table is a single-purpose Chrome extension that reformats Facebook Marketplace search results into a sortable table directly in your browser, following the same local-only design as GildLogic's other search-table tools. It only runs on Facebook Marketplace pages and does not operate anywhere else.

Permissions

What each permission is used for

storage

Declared for potential local UI-preference storage. The extension's listing cache currently uses the browser's page-level storage (localStorage) on facebook.com rather than this permission.

Host access to facebook.com

Required so the extension can run on Facebook Marketplace pages and read the Marketplace listing data already present on, or already fetched by, the page you are viewing in order to build the table.

Data collection

What we do not collect

No personal information, account details, or Facebook login credentials
No browsing history outside of Facebook Marketplace
No analytics, tracking pixels, or usage telemetry
Nothing is ever sold, rented, or shared with third parties

What is stored, and where

Marketplace listing data (title, price, location, seller, and similar fields already shown publicly on the listing) that you have scrolled past, cached in your browser's local storage for facebook.com so the table persists across a reload of that page. This cache stays on your device and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browsing data for facebook.com.
As you scroll, the extension reads the Marketplace data Facebook's own page has already requested from Facebook's servers, so it can add newly loaded listings to the table. It does not make any additional network requests of its own.
If you use the CSV export feature, a CSV file of the currently displayed table is generated entirely in your browser and saved to your computer's Downloads folder. This file is never uploaded or transmitted anywhere.

Data sharing and remote code

None. The extension does not send any data to GildLogic or any third-party server. All processing and storage happens locally in your own browser.

The extension does not load or execute any remotely hosted code. Every script it runs ships inside the extension package submitted to the Chrome Web Store.
